Thursday, July 12, 2007: Someone's Going Home
Tonight....
12:00AM BBT: The conversations aren't real good
yet this season, sometimes they're outright tedious. Just
before midnight Joe called Dustin over to where he was sitting on
the patio. Joe's told Dustin before that if he gets HoH
he's going to nominate Dustin. Joe's reason is that he
"Wants to save face in front of the others." [Huh?] Tonight
Dustin asks just who the others are he's referring to and Joe
pauses, thinks, and says "Mike." Dustin questions, "Mike?"
and adds. "Well, yeah, the guys mostly." The talk goes on
Joe talking about how fun it is to cuddle with Nick and other
stuff like that there. Next, Dick and Eric chat about the
game, Mrs. Robinson and stuff. Listen to a clip [32
minutes]
12:10AM BBT: Amber and Jameka are talking about
Zach saying he's two faced. Amber says Dustin and her talk
all the time and Zach told people that Dustin said that Daniele
is using Nick. Amber says that he never said that
since he tells her everything. Talks turn to Zach
trying cause trouble between him and Joe. Dustin tells
Jameka to be careful of Joe, Zach as well. [They go
to the bathroom where they can't be heard.]
Later, Dustin tells Amber and Jameka about his conversation
with Joe and that he's paranoid. Amber says that Zach and
Joe are floaters. Jameka say Zach says nothing to her and he
enters a room and she's invisible and that she doesn't trust him
at all. Between him and Mike nothing at all. She
tries to engage with them and nothing.
And they're
Back... The conversation keeps going on about Zach and
Joe. Dustin said he started to doubt himself and then goes
into the Zach and Joe Carol vote switch. He also tells
Dustin that he doesn't need to put him up since cards are
starting to work in his favor. Dustin says Joe knows about
the deal.[? This might be the deal where Amber promises not to
vote against Zach for two weeks ?] Amber says she didn't
say anything to Zach. Jameka says that everyone else she is
good with. Amber says that she has to get HoH.
Amber said Kail and Mike are "Sneaky as fuck," and that
Zach and them need to go first before Jen "I can wait on
Jen."
12:45AM BBT: Dick is laughing about Mike being
overly domestic. He cooks, cleans and scrubs toilets,
Dick tells Jameka he told Mike that "You're gonna make someone a
great wife." Jameka says "Wife?" and Dick said Yes. Dick's
worried that tomorrow will be an all day lock down and won't be
able to smoke.
Eric comes out. Dick asks if it's safe to use the bathroom
after Eric, he asked "Has it "cooled down?" Dustin
said he's never known a 44 year old man who still laughs at his
own farts. Dick say it's funny, "Farting is funny when your
little and when your old." Jameka asks Dick if he brought
any underwear, Dick said he never does and that he hasn't worn
dress slacks in years. Late night crew - See Video -

1:15AM BBT: Dick says if the vote comes out 9-2
than it was Jen and Mike voting for Carol, further proof that
they're in an alliance. Jameka asked why would she do that? a
quick FotH interrupts the answer.
1:30AM BBT: Looks like an early night as people
start to shuffle off to bed. Dick sent Amber to bed and
told her he's fine by himself and covered the HT and cleaned up a
little.
The Dick-at-Nite Show Begins
After everyone else went to bed, Dick goes outside for a
smoke, and some heavy duty thinking, out load. The idea of
Jen being in the Mrs. Robinson alliance is bothering him.
"Kail, Mike, Jen?" He goes over all the people that could
be part of this cabal. "No, not Jen. Kail and
Mike? No, only two? Kail, Mike Zach? Yeah, why didn't
I see that. Kail, Mike, Zach, Jen. No, no Jen.
Jen can stay another week, she isn't part of it and she's
crazy."
Dick goes over the different possibilities of who would do
what, if they where to get HoH. He admits out loud that he
and Daniele are working together. Sounds like he thinks
Jameka would be a good HoH choice. He keeps saying
Mike is the brains of the Mrs. Robinson gang. He later
admits he talks out loud at night, when by himself,
because when he used to watch the late night feeds, he always
wondered, "What the fuck they where thinking?" Dick
goes inside where he cleans the kitchen again and decorates the
indoor topiaries with fake flowers.
4:00AM BBT: All the HGs are now
sleeping.
6:35AM BBT: All HGs still. 7:20AM BBT: Kail up exercising.
Everyone else still sleeping.
A new day is dawning, the twelfth day for our dreary
little hamsters. All 4 feeds have been on Nick and Daniele
on her bed for the last half-hour or so. Zach keeps coming
into the room for normal ADL activity.
9:10AM BBT: Feeds 1 and 2 are in the bathroom, with
Eric and his ADLs, and the sound of the vacuum in the
distance. It is Dick at the vacuum, with Mike helping to
move furniture. A long shot of the kitchen shows one or two
people, but it's obvious that most are still not out of their
beds. On indoor lockdown, per Nick.
9:30AM BBT: Kail, Amber, Eric and Zack in
kitchen, talking about leaving butter out of the fridge since it
is always too hard to spread. Amber states that she tried
but someone just put it back in the fridge.
Dicks' janitorial service is getting the house clean for
tonight's broadcast. I thought it was Dustin who was so
excited about getting the vacuum, that was short lived, Dick is
using it now. Zach wonders why bother cleaning the whole
house when only one room is shown on TV.
10:25AM BBT: BB (A female voice) tells Kail she
has an hour and a half to get out of the HoH room.
I just want to remind everyone that Thursdays in the BB house
are painfully dull for us live feed watchers. Since the
vote is cast, the plotting is done. They clean and
straighten the house, they block the feeds with on and off
FotH, sometimes if the production crew is working in the BY
they'll play music so the HGs can't hear what's going on,
and the HGs spend what seems like hours primping and preening for
their few moments on live network TV. Therefore, we
don't expect to be posting very much here until after 6:00PM
BBT.
11:30AM BBT: Kail and Zach spent some time in the
kitchen playing chess.
Noon: Dick was in the kitchen complaining was a
miserable bitch Jen is. I'm not sure who he was talking to,
I was starting to drift off to sleep when the next thing I knew
Dick was in Jen's bedroom telling her right to her that she's a
self-centered bitch. He says every topic of conversation
she brings up begins with "Me" or "I." Dick says that if Jen does
not start thinking of other people besides herself, he will make
her the most miserable bitch in the house. Dick asks, "Who
are you that you thought it was your job to wake me
up?"
Dr. Will once had a pet
chinchilla. Which
current HG also has
a pet chinchilla ?

I must give Jen credit, where most women would have broke down
and cried at this point, Jen just stood her ground and said
she woke him up because the announcement had said, "Houseguests
it's time to get up." I only caught this short clip

2:15PM BBT: Dick and Jen have a short
continuation of the talk they had at noon. When Dick
leaves, Jen giggles over Dick's comments.
4:00PM BBT: It's been
a lot of FotH, and general chit-chat, mostly about how the show works, and
their opinions of Julie Chen.
Vincent is Dick's son, Daniele's brother.
Dick says Vince has no tattoos or piercings.

house with Dick

Tonight's Broadcast:
Julie brings us up to speed on past events. Amber has the support of
Dick and Dustin (they both trust Amber), Amber says she thinks she's staying.
Carol even goes to Jessica for her support, although Jessica's not
interested in helping her. Joe wants Amber out because he see how
close Amber is to Dustin, and Joe wants Dustin out. The
house is split and it's up to the Mrs. Robinson Alliance to decide which
one goes.
Julie talks to the HGs, concentrating on the six with the histories. Julie:
"Dick, you've had a
chance to spend some time
with your daughter.
How has that been for you?
" Dick: "Kind of interesting.
I've had -- at least we're
talking, even if it is just
on a cordial, real surface
kind of a deal. It's baby steps. Walking in seeing her was so
much fun. [sarcasm] Just kind of -- expected
unexpected -- expect the
unexpected.
Yeah, and it was -- it's
been so far, I don't know,
hard.
Julie: "Let me talk to
Daniele what has it been
like for you, Daniele." Daniele: "How is it for me? ♪Awkward!♫I [Daniele
figured Julie would ask this question and she jokingly practiced her
lyrical way of saying "Awkward"] It's been, honestly, awkward
and kind of uncomfortable.
It's an odd situation to
have to deal with in front
of a bunch of different
people. Luckily everybody's been
really nice and really
caring about it.
So it's making it easier."
Next, a biography of Dick as told by his son Vincent
and his mother Charlotte. Vincent: "Well, 'Evil Dick' is my
dad, and Daniele is my sister. My sister hasn't talked to
my dad in the last two years
because at one point he let
her borrow money for
something and she wasn't
able to pay it back.
And the way he handled it
wasn't the best way to
handle it.
And she didn't like that.
So basically she stopped
talking to him for two
years. It's been going on for so
long, I don't know what my
dad can do to change the
situation between us."
Charlotte, Dick's mom she speaks next: "When Richard became a
father he was only 22.
I think it was confusing,
the whole fatherhood was
not what he expected.
It's like most parents, you
don't realize your life is
over as you know it. And it's a whole different
life. I do think Richard is trying to get closer to Daniele. He's always
wanted to be close to her."
From the DR, Dick comments: "How weird that I come in here and she's here. It's
a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. It could be really good for our
relationship, but it can also destroy it and that's sad. That's -- at least
we're talking now. Yeah. I have the hardest game in this house. I'm here to win
a half a million dollars. And I'm here to win the love of my daughter back, the
relationship with my daughter back." See

Julie talks to Kail in the HoH room:
"Your house mates
are downstairs in the living
room and they are not able
to hear you.
So please feel free to speak
your mind. Once you became
head of household you
quickly formed an alliance
with three of the men. Why all men?" Kail: "Well, that wasn't my plan
coming into the house. But Zach approached me first
and I looked around at the
girls and there is such an
age difference that I ran
with Zach's idea. And that's how the alliance
formed." Julie: "Well, the men have
been responding well to you
in the house.
I mean Eric for example, he
had a very emotional
conversation with you.
Were you surprised that he
would confide in you?" Kail: "Yes, at first I was
surprised but then when I
think about my age and being
older and someone who seems
to be a little bit less
talkative, I think he felt
he could trust me just all
right."
The next segment was devoted to showing how Eric's friends reacted to finding
out he's America's Player [They were all excited, see the
video.]
Now it is time to reveal who is the first person to be voted out of the Big
Brother 8 House. Julie reads the results, "In a vote of ten to one...
Carol, you have been evicted from the Big Brother House." Carol
walks to Julie's studio, where Julie shows Carol a clip reel of catty remarks
made by Jessica about Carol. Here's some of what Jessica said: "She owed me $5 one time."
"Well, when are you 14.
Carol and I were BFF. She had been talking smack
on me to a lot of people." "I can not stand her. We're from the same small
town. She has the exact same
face. She has the exact same hair. Personally I don't like
girl's hair curled with a
curling iron but works for
her." "Is that a ring, is she
engaged. I was going to say..
because she's not loyal." "I want Carol evicted
before me.
I will absolutely die if she
is not evicted before me. Bye, Carol."
Julie: "Now what do you
want to say?" Carol: "That's exactly what I
said. She's the exact same person
she was in high school, very, very conceited, very
stuck up, now I can honestly
say that and not feel bad
about it." [I think Carol really handled herself well at this point.
She left the show with class and dignity.] Julie: "Are you going to
pay her back her $5 or not." Carol: " No, absolutely not, not
worth it." Of course they showed all the "Goodbye clips" and everyone was
very nice to Carol. See

Meanwhile, back at the house... It's been FotH for 35 minutes.
When we come back the HGs are talking about the show and the competition.
They are still wondering why they had to get up at 8:30AM for a one hour show
at 5:00PM.
Who will Jen nominate? Dick says, "I told her to fuck off just before
we went outside, so I think I have an idea."
7:00PM BBT: Eric: "All I can say is the executives are smiling
tonight. This is gonna be a great week of TV"
Once again Dick tells Jen she is inconsiderate, "Everyone knows it, I'm just
the only one that will tell you to your face." A few minutes later Jen
says that she wasn't going to nominate Dick, but if he wants to be nominated,
"I'll make him happy."
IMHO, people have sort of avoided Jen, she had distanced herself from many
of the HGs in the past week, but right now everyone is sitting around her on
her bed making a big fuss over her.
7:15PM BBT: Amber and Dick are talking, they're pretty sure
they're the nominees Jen will pick.
7:30PM BBT: Nick comes outside where Dick, Joe, and Dustin are all sitting and said that Jen told him
he better pay attention to her this week. They go on to say that they had all heard that Jen said she was going to nominate two
guys. Nick says that's before Dick entered the radar. Dick said take this whole week out and I still would be going on the
block.
7:50PM BBT: It's dinner time in the BB house and Zach made a
toast to Carol. Jess was in the DR and didn't hear that toast. After
she walked out, Joe asked her what it was like in the house now her worst enemy
was gone. Jess said, "How did you know they asked me
that?"
8:00PM BBT: Daniele, Dick, and Joe are outside talking about the
nominations. Joe says he's not as worried as he was last week. Daniele says she doesn't
want to go up because of personal issues. She says she might go up because Jen is jealous of her and
Nick. Dick says he's going up and there's nothing that can be done about it.
Dick walks inside and Daniele asks Joe if she's up against her dad would they vote to keep
her. Joe said of course.
Dick returns and talk turns to the HoH comp and Daniele asks if they believe that there were two numbers for the tie
breaker. Dick and Joe both say yes of course. Daniele says like if Jen wasn't in it, it would've been the real number..."
8:30PM BBT: Talk is about Carol and how happy she is to be out of the
house and they all say they are glad that the week is over. (Nothing really going on...)
FotH. We return to Eric and Dick talking. Joe saying he thought he had won because Julie was saying J and then she said Jen and he was
shocked. Joe, Jess, Eric, Daniele and Jameka are
outside. Jen was called into the diary room (to get her HoH
key?). Nick and Joe are talking about Joes nipples and how big they are, Nick says they are at least
four times bigger than
his.
8:45PM BBT: Jen is getting her HoH room. She is walking up the
stairs to see her room. It's basically the same room. Nothing has really
changed, only the pictures (she isn't impressed with those either). I see 12 people in HoH but Dick isn't there, he's in the BY smoking. He's the only one who didn't go
up. She got nutter butters and sleeping thing like ear plugs and eye mask, some lotion and some kind of drink that she said she would share if she got more than one
bottle. She also got a U2 CD.
8:55PM BBT: Joe and Jen are the last ones in her HoH room and he tells her if she will put up Dustin he will be her
BBFL. She says ok we'll see.
9:30PM BBT: Not much going on. Most HG are in the BY. Jameka and Amber are in the bathroom chit-chatting. Daniele comes in
and they start bashing Zach. He is rude to Jameka and Daniele can't stand him.
Jameka says Zach ignores her. Daniele whines that Zach was rude to her today when her
and Nick were sitting in bed. She said that Zach said he was sorry but all of us aren't a little princess like you
and get everything we want (you go Zach). Daniele says her dad will get nominated for sure because he is begging for it but what-e-ver, what-e-ver it's not her problem.
Meanwhile out in the HT, Jen has on the smallest bikini bottoms yet.
9:50PM BBT: Jen and Kail go to the HoH. Jen says Nick, Daniele,
and Dick are obviously so worried. Kail says she needs to get 3 nominations
in mind to have veto covered. Jen says she can think of like 6. Kail tells her she should pick someone in an alliance
and someone who is coming after her. Kail starts to name off the alliances (she forgets to name
Mrs. Robinson ) Kail says she has to go after Dick. Jen swears Kail to secrecy
and says she is thinking of putting up Dick and Daniele together. Kail says that is perfect.
Jen says everyone will be happy with it because they can't be here together.
Kail says Dick will be gone. Jen says she would never do Dick and Joe.
Jen says she may not do Daniele/Dick because what are the chances of either one winning a comp.
Kail reminds her that Daniele just won PoV.
Kail Tells her she could call Dick up and make a deal. Jen says she kinda doesn't want to put any girls up because their are more guys.
Jen says the only people that she knows would put her up are Daniele and
Dick. Jen says if she puts them up she will be putting the house at ease (because of the family tension)
and letting the house choose which one stays. They say Jen has so many options for
nominations. Kail says Dick is grating on everyone's nerves and if she
nominates him he will defiantly go home. Jen says Daniele is sarcastically mean
and everyone else is starting to act like that too. Jen doesn't like that kind of funny.
She thinks Daniele would get voted out over Dick. They make fun of Jameka
and say she cried last week thinking Kail was gonna put her up and Kail says she is in the bathroom crying about it right now.
They laugh and wonder if Jameka will cry every week.
Meanwhile Dick, Daniele, Jess and totally non-crying-Jameka are hanging out in the
tiny room. They think Kail, Jen, and Mike are in an alliance because why else would Jen assume she could sleep in the
HoH room so early on when Kail was HoH. Dick says it is best if they are not seen talking until the
nominations are announced. Dick says he is not worried about getting nominated
and that he expected to be nom at least 3 times if he makes it to the end.
Back in HoH, more strategy rambling with Kail and Jen. They decide to go join the others in the BY.
Jen announces unselfishly that she put the coffee drinks in the non-HoH fridge for everyone because she doesn't drink
them.
9:40PM BBT: Danielle, Amber and Jameka are in the bathroom
discussing the HoH competition. They believe that the competition was made
for Jen and producers wanted her to win.
10:00PM BBT: Mike and Zach talking with Amber about having sex with her. She says that they both have a 1 in 1 chance.
Joe in BR talking with Jameka and Jess, and telling them that Jen is putting up Dustin and Dick the remaining 2 of the 3 that still have a
"friend", (dad/daughter, ex's) left in the house. Jameka tells Jess that Mike is working with Kail, and that neither one will be put up this week.
Jameka wants to know if the original decision was to vote Carol out, and then Mike and Kail changed things up and left Jen out of the decision.
Dick talking about the fact that he told Jen to "fuck off," and then 10 minutes later she wins
HoH. Dick is going to try to make a deal with Jen, to not go on the block, and in return he won't put her on the block, and if she is on the block, he wont vote to evict her, and if she takes it she takes it, but I am going to be lying to her the whole
time.
10:30PM BBT: Mike and Zach want Jess and Joe to be the nominees, and send out Joe.
They could get 6 votes to throw Joe out. Zach also thinks that Jen will put up Dick and Joe, with the target being Dick, and then we can send Joe packing due to us.
FotH.
11:25PM BBT: Zach comes out of the DR and announces that there will
be no liquor since there is a food comp tomorrow.
He said BB wants everyone to be well rested.
11:30PM BBT: Mike Zach with Jen complaining she didn't get her satin sheets and that her pictures are from 4-5 years ago.
She says that her contact had more recent pictures and that BB could have easily gotten
them.
Jen says if the food competitions are tomorrow are the nominations Saturday? Zach said he didn't know.
Jen said whoever picks the sweets and the breads in the food comp will get nominated.
Zach said all he wants meat and seafood. Jen talking about her inarticulate answers to Julie and she said someone said if she answers questions like that how is she going to do outside.
[Mike yawns in boredom as brown nosing is tiring work] Mike said he's tired despite having two cups of green tea. Jen said she got wine because she doesn't drink soda.
Jen says that yesterday she said she said that she would be the funniest person to get
HoH. She says that she was on everyone's thought that why she got it. Mike said that he notices everyone being extra nice to her.
She said she likes it. Jen says she has to put him (Dick) up from the confrontation
earlier. She says she has to because she doesn't want to stuck in sequester with all the smoking.
Mike agrees.
Mike says he would put up Jameka, Joe and Daniele if he were HoH because he thinks he may be at the top of their hit list.
Jen thinks she is second on the list. Mike said he would gladly be there with you because
he would take first.
Jen says she would be cool with it and would only fight for it if she was up against Joe or Dick.
Jen tells him she's afraid to get rid of a girl since the guys could gang up on the rest of them.
Mike just told Jen she pulled a Janelle by winning HoH. He goes on to say he was sure of all his answers whether they were right or
wrong but his ending number would have been way high because he would have not thought about the door being off.
Jen said she kept her number low since she didn't want to go over and if she didn't get
HoH her ass would have been gone. She adds that she will use HoH to get in good in some people's
graces
11:50PM BBT: Jen said she is not putting Mike, Kail and Eric up and maybe Zach.
Mike says a lot of worried people around. Jen says she needs to get on the stronger people in Amber's alliance. Mike said they are concentrating on Joe getting out. Jen said I can't wait for the
keys and says, "Between me, you and Kail, we can win competitions." She said she's a good Janelle. [yeah
right]
A little later she asked Mike who he would vote for between Dick and Daniele.
Jen thinks Daniele and Mike says Dick. Mike says Daniele. Jen said Carol told her that Jess would put her up because she wants to be the hot chick in the house.
Mike says yes. Jen says why? Mike really couldn't answer. She goes on to
say the only problem would be if one of them winning the veto.

The Dick-at-Nite Show Begins
After everyone else went to bed, Dick goes outside for a
smoke, and some heavy duty thinking, out load. The idea of
Jen being in the Mrs. Robinson alliance is bothering him.
"Kail, Mike, Jen?" He goes over all the people that could
be part of this cabal. "No, not Jen. Kail and
Mike? No, only two? Kail, Mike Zach? Yeah, why didn't
I see that. Kail, Mike, Zach, Jen. No, no Jen.
Jen can stay another week, she isn't part of it and she's
crazy."
