Wednesday, August 1, 2001: Kent Quits Smoking
Big Brother supplied Kent with Nicatrol and Zyban to help him quit smoking.  Krista is craving beer, which she doesn't have.  Kent tried making a deal with her, but Big Brother took Kent's cigarettes away from, saying they could later be used for bribes, which could effect the outcome of the game.
Thursday, August 2, 2001: Eviction Vote & CBS Schedule Change
Mike was the fourth houseguest to be voted out of the Big Brother house.  Here's how they voted:
Bunky: Will: Hardy: Monica:  Nicole:
Mike Krista Mike Mike Mike
TOTAL VOTES: Mike got 4 votes, Krista got 1

The new head of house this week is: Hardy.  Who will Hardy nominate?  Find out on Saturday's Big Brother.

CBS Changes Schedule: CBS is moving Big Brother to 9pm.  Be sure to set your VCRs!  The America's choice question this week is:  "What pet would you like to see the houseguests take care of?" The choices are hamster, goldfish, potbelly pig.

Friday, August 3, 2001: Goodbye Kent, Hello New House Guest
Hardy hasn't decided the two people that will be nominated on Saturday's show, but one of the two will be Kent.  Does it matter who's number two?  I don't think so.  Even Bunky has told the other house guests that he'll vote with the crowd (he needs to get back on their side), and that means Kent.   And get ready for a new houseguest, the gang will be getting a pot-bellied pig to take care of.  As Kent tries to quit smoking, Hardy is becoming a regular in the smoking circle,  but don't worry,  he says he'll quit tomorrow.  Remember, you heard it here first.
Saturday August 4, 2001: Nominations & Challenges
Nominations are In!: Hardy has nominated Kent and Will.  Apparently it wasn't as easy for Hardy to make the nomination as I had told you.  Hardy broke down and started to cry.  He asked Big Brother if they could tape the segment again so when it was shown on TV his buddies at the gym wouldn't think he was a sissy.  The houseguests have already figured out who's voting for whom.  And the vote will result in a tie.  As head of the house, it will be Hardy's duty to cast the tie breaking vote.  Kent is certain that Hardy will vote to evict Will,  don't count on it Kent.

Challenges: The guests were given a luxury challenge tonight.  They were given blow-up dolls and are required to make them look as much like themselves as possible. The group doesn't know what the luxury will be and will find out more about the challenge in the morning.  Also, the guest had their food challenge today.  Each guest was asked to make a list of their favorite meals.  Big Brother then got each guest the required items and put them in a blender.  Each guest had to drink their meal.  For each person that failed the challenge, they would loose a day of food, and get peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  Here's what they had to drink:  Bunky:  Chicken burrito, spicy fries, Mountain Dew, spicy baked beans, and a Dairy Queen Blizzard. Kent: Meat, potatoes, cream corn, chocolate mousse and iced tea. Krista: Quarter ponder with cheese, French fries. fillet of fish with tarter sauce, apple pie and Dr. Pepper.  Krista failed the challenge.   Monica:  Whopper with cheese, fries, onion rings, and pound cake.   Nicole:  Pad cu with tofu, spicy veggie fried rice, chocolate bread pudding, and Thai iced tea. Will: Sashimi plate, pistachio gelato, and Thai iced tea.   Hardy:  Turkey, stuffing, gravy, Mountain Dew, and a heath bar.  Hardy didn't have to participate (head of house), but opted to anyway.  He did the best, drinking the mix in 5 seconds.

Sunday August 5, 2001: Luxury Challenge & Ophelia Moves In
The houseguests must perform a rescue mission.  The winner will get $100 for anything they want, as long as it doesn't violate the house rules.   The challenge was done in teams, boys against they girls.  The girls won.  They can't have a puppy or alcohol. Hardy wants 5 lap dances.  Monica wants more cigarettes  (Big Brother says she can have them, but it has to be $100 worth of them).  Nicole wants Stilettos, so she can do table dances. Krista got to send flowers to Mike, Nicole got to send a dozen roses to her husband, and Monica got so send herself more cigarettes.  Hardy won a pair of Adidas running shoes (size 10) even though as head of the house he didn't participate.  Kent didn't like this because he didn't win anything when he was head of the house.       Krista joked about hiring a hit man for Kent.  The houseguests were also told that the America's Choice poll was to select a pet for them,  but they were not told of the choices.

Ophelia Moves In and The Tide Turns:   I told they were getting a pig,  it's here and her name is Ophelia.   In an odd turn of events,  Will got Nicole to turn against the others,  the goal is to get Kent, Will, Hardy and Bunk out of the house.  Hardy?

Monday, August 6, 2001: Dirty Details
There was more going on in the Big Brother house the night Justin got kicked out than TV viewers were told.  The alcohol fueled passion between Krista and Justin got pretty hot.  Read the whole story here.  And see some pretty explicit pictures.
Tuesday, August 7 2001: A Boo Boo & And Preview
CBS CBS Makes a Boo Boo on BB: Hearing-impaired viewers watching tonight night's installment of Big Brother got an eyeful when the F-word made it past censors and onto the closed captioning. In the past, swear words have been replaced with the phrase "no audio," but during housemate Nicole's verbal assault against Bunky, the granddaddy of all curses appeared on TV screens at least once.

What You'll See on Thursday:   Kent will be evicted and a new head of the house will be selected.  The head of the house challenge is a house key shuffle board.  Each house guest will take their key and slide it across a shuffleboard.  The key the goes the farthest, is the winner and will rule the roost for the next week.

One of the funniest banners to be flown over the house was to Bunky and read:  "Sweetie, go ahead and shave your chest! Love, Greg"

Wednesday, August 8, 2001: Krista's $100 & Shannon in Playboy
Viewers Turn Against Krista:   Big Brother fans have cheered Krista on her way to the prize, money for her daughter.  So Krista wins $100.  For her daughter?  No! She sends the money to Mike.

We'll Be Seeing more of Shannon:   Shannon, the third houseguest to be evicted, has agreed to pose for Playboy.  She'll be paid about $400,000.

The house guests were also told there'd be no eviction, and no live show next week.  Contrary to rumors of low ratings, and other reasons,  the real reason is that because Justin was kicked out, if they continued with the current schedule,  the game would end too early.  Instead of Big Brother, on Saturday, August 18th, CBS will air a preseason football game between Philadelphia and Tennessee.

Also,  while Kent's been in the Bog Brother house, his dog died.  He hasn't been told.

Thursday, August 9, 2001: Eviction Vote #5
Kent was the fifth houseguest to be voted out of the Big Brother house.  Here's how they voted:
Bunky: Krista: Monica:  Nicole:
Kent Kent Kent Kent
TOTAL VOTES: Will got  0 votes,  Kent got  4
The new head of house this week is: Nicole.
Friday, August 10 2001: Krista & Monica Nominated
Nicole spent the evening talking to other's about who to nominate.  She has been pretty clear that she will nominate two people who haven't been nominated before.  She also realizes that whoever stays will nominate her if they have the opportunity.  Nicole and Krista talked for a long time.  Nicole convinced Krista that if she is up against Monica,  Monica will go. This propaganda is not nessacerly true. She also tells Krista that she needs the money more than anyone and the others know this.  Next Nicole takes Monica into the Head of House room.  They also talk for a long time.  Nicole also tells Monica that she wants Krista to win.  Monica feels like a target, because no one wants her to win.

Monica and Krista are both pretty upset about the news, because they are "best friends,"  but they do appreciate Nicole's honesty.  Krista becomes so upset about being nominated that by the end of the night she tells everyone that she's going to walk.  Of course the gang talks her into staying, at least for now.

Nicole tells Bunky the plan.  Bunky promises Nicole his loyalty for the future.  Nicole also told Bunky that everyone else wanted him out, which is true.

Saturday, August 11 2001: America's Choice #4
The house guests were told the choices the public is voting on for new additions to the backyard:  1.) Grass (Bunky's tired of looking at the brown lawn)  2.) Heavy Bag (Hardy needs to hit something)  3.) Trampoline (Will's choice)  4.) Swing Set  (Krista) 5.) Porch Swing (Monica) or 6.) An Exercise Bike (Nicole).  When the other house guests found out that Bunk asked for a new lawn they were a little pissed off.  Bunky responded, "Well,  we could watch the grass grow.  that could be fun."  Hardy asked, "Would you all be mad at me if we get a heavy bag?"  They have nothing to worry about,  we all know they're getting the trampoline.  However, there was some talk amongst disappointed fans  that we should band together and teach them a lesson:  vote them a lawn.
Sunday, August 12, 2001: Ophelia Out, Trampoline In
I guess the headline says it all, Ophelia left today and the houseguests got their trampoline.  An amusing moment was Hardy in a wig, thong, and cowboy hat singing "I'm a Dirty White Boy."  Not sure why, but it broke the monotony.  So did a faked sex scene between Monica and Bunky.  Quote of the day, Hardy: "After seeing Bunky's naked, hairy ass I may go blind."
Monday, August 13, 2001: Nothing Happened Today
Bunky and Hardy are still doing role reversals, Will proved he isn't housebroken yet when he soiled himself on the trampoline.  Everyone is still plotting and scheming, and it's very hard to write about who's going to what, because buy the time I type it,  they've re-grouped and changed their minds. They hate each other,  they bond with each other, they plan to stab each other in the back--  just another day in the Big Brother House.  Check out this link of things Will said, they're really funny.
Tuesday, August 14, 2001: Review & Reminder

TV Review:   Judging from what the put on TV, I was right, nothing's going on.  I found it really interesting the way they edited the luxury challenge.  The house guests thought it was a stupid game and they thought the prize was especially lame.  But somehow, after they cut it for TV, they all were into it.

Wednesday, August 15, 2001: Live Vote and Chatter
A Live Vote:  I've always posted the results of the weekly vote before it was shown on TV.  I won't be able to do that this week because the voting will done on TV live this week.  Both Monica's family and Krista's have been flown to Burbank to meet this weeks evictee.  The gang talked about Justin's antics.  They all want him to come back out for the final show but think that Big Brother won't fly him out.  Bunky suggests that they all chip in to fly Justin out.

Bunky and Krista: Krista says that she wants to buy a headstone for her mom.  Bunky is teary-eyed and says that he and Greg (Bunky's husband) will make sure her mom gets a head stone.  She couldn't believe that he had been thinking about this.  He said, "Ever since you told me."

Dinner Talk:  On their applications the guests gave Big Brother fantasy requests, during dinner they talked about their requests.  Bunky wants to referee a pro wrestling match and give a wrestler a massage.  Hardy wants to play drums with his favorite band.  Will wants $5000, the trampoline, and a week on General Hospital.  Krista wants to be on Millionaire, Fear Factor, and Wheel of Fortune.  Krista says that she would walk out the door right now for $10,000 and a date with Christian Slater or James Spader.

Thursday, August 16, 2001: Live Vote Results

August 16:

It's day 47 in the Big Brother house.  Krista was the sixth houseguest to be voted out of the Big Brother house.  Here's how they voted:

Bunky: Will: Hardy:
Krista Krista Krista

TOTAL VOTES:  Krista got  3 votes,  Monica got  0
The new head of house will be selected on a special Wednesday broadcast.  As I told you, the surprise guest was former houseguest Mike.  Also present was her brother Freddie.  Krista plans to get drunk and party all night.  Despite what she told Julie Chen, she asked that her daughter Laken, not be present so she could party all night.  Julie asked her if she knew why Justin was expelled.  Krista said she didn't know.  Julie told her she'd be told later.

Friday, August 17, 2001: Luxury Challenge & Ratings

It's movie night in the Big Brother house.  Bunky won a night at the movies.  After a brief lock-down, the guests returned to find head-of-the-house room has been transformed in to a movie theatre.  They have two nice comfortable chairs,  a popcorn machine, a candy counter and A VERY BIG SCREEN TV.  Tonight's feature: "American Pie II."   Bunky's ticket was for him and a guest.  He  asked Hardy who he should choose, and then selected Monica.   This is probably another paid product placement,  which haven't been going too good.  The last paid product was a Taco Bell dinner that made everyone sick, of course you didn't see that part on TV.  So this placement sent a black chick and a gay guy to movie made for straight young whites.

Big Brother Scores Big in Ratings:  STUDIO CITY, CA (Newswire, 8/17/01) - The anticipated and eventual banishment of Krista Stegall, the foul-mouth waitress from the bayou, landed CBS and Big Brother 2 in unfamiliar territory of late: 3rd place in Nielsen's overnight metered market Nielsen ratings.

The voyeuristic series drew a 6.7 rating/11 share Thursday evening, a stark slump from its best-ever audience of a week earlier that saw the eviction of the cantankerous Kent Blackwelder.

Sunday, August 19, 2001: Challenges & Winners

America's Choice Winner: Bunky won America's choice. Nicole read the letter out loud to everyone. Both she and Bunky cried a little. The major crying happened afterwards. Nicole went to the head of the house room, got under the covers and sobbed.   Nicole thinks America hates her.  There have been a lot of banners flown, and she really misses her husband.

Head of the House Challenge:  Remote Control Cars!  The head of the house challenges are rehearsed so that they'll go OK on TV,  but the out come is real.   They got two cars to practice with. They will have the cars to practice with for 3 hours each. They tell them to practice controlling the cars on all kinds of terrain, inside and out. If they break a car, they may have to use that car for their competition. They each get to pick a color. Bunky, Gold, Will Black, Monica Silver, Hardy camouflage. They are going to get to practice all together for 45 minutes, then they each get 3 hours to learn how to operate the cars. They are told again to be VERY careful during practice, 'cause if they break one now, they have to use it, period, during the actual challenge tomorrow.  I think Hardy is upset because he (and Will) both broke their remote control cars, which could have a devastating affect on the competition for them both.  Nicole is still whining about missing Jeff's 40th birthday.  Will and Hardy tried to do a practice with the remote control cars but both conked out before they really got going.  Big Brother is working on the cars now, they think, to get them back up & running.

Food and Cash Challenge:   In this challenge, the house guests must find five jars of peanut butter hidden in the house.  They will have four minutes.  Each person has to find a jar.  If one person doesn’t find a jar, they all have to eat PB&J for five days.  Will is threatening to sit outside in a chair for three minutes then burst in the house just to make it more interesting.  They are not to open their jars when they find them.  They all find their jars. Then Big Brother says they will be called to the Diary Room  in alphabetical order and made an offer.   After a long time Julie tells the guest to take the lids off their jars and hold the number inside up to the camera.  When this is done they are to close their jars, and take them to the living room. They are not allowed to talk.  There is a giant peanut butter jar in the middle of the room.  At this point the live feed goes to the goes to the front of the house so we can't see what's going on.  When the feeds return,  Hardy and Will are both eating peanut butter and talking.  They were offered money to sentence their fellow houseguests to eating PB&J for a number of days.  Bunky got a "one" and took the money.  Bunky gets $5k for betraying the others, who'll have to eat PB&J for four days.  Of course Bunky later started crying and is going to split the money with the others.

Monday, August 20, 2001: Guests Are Fed
I don't know why the guests were allowed off the PB&J diet, but they got to order food.  Instead of waiting for groceries, they asked Big Brother to get them fast food.  It was after midnight, but the guests were able to tell Big Brother which places had drive-thrus open  and they did get their dose of grease and salt.
Tuesday, August 21, 2001: HoH & Spoiler

Head of the House Part 2 AND THE WINNER IS: I haven't even been able to find out what the second part of the competition was, but I know who the winner is.  I've always given out this information before it airs on TV, but for those of you that want a surprise, DON'T CLICK HERE.

Head of the House Part 1: The guests have been studying map and learning state capitols for the great race with the remote control cars.  They are given shirts the color of their cars.  They are told to go outside and stand behind their car and pick up the remote control. There was a battery change after every four questions.  The questions were like, “Which state has the largest lake” The first person to the state gets it.  Then they sit to wait for next question.  They may not intentionally hit another car.  And the winner is Bunky,  but wait!  It's a two part competition.  The finals are between Bunky and Hardy.  They have to use the cars again, and Bunky isn’t happy about that.  Nicole  is in a bad mood about having been in the heat so long, she is on her period, and she got run over by cars.

Thursday, August 23, 2001: Fans Revolt
Fans are angry, claiming that the head of the house competition was rigged to the boy's advantage, and then favored Hardy.  The house guests completed a Big Brother mural and a Jenga food challenge.  The big question is, who will Hardy nominate?  Although many think it's a forgone conclusion that Will will be voted out, Nicole has been lobbying for Monica's nomination.  And that's it in a nuthouse.  Nominations will be made on Saturday.
Friday, August 24, 2001: Food Challenge & Hardy's Nominations

Food Challenge: Everyone is told to wear sneakers and make sure they are tied. Hardy brings a suitcase out of the Head of the House room. Big Brother tells them that one at a time they will be called to the Diary Room. They will each be offered $15,000. If they take it, Bunky will have to eat PB&J  for a week. They all laugh. The game includes dice. Food list is divided into three categories. They have to build a tower of blocks that represent fats, proteins, and carbs. They get points for building the tower but will get more for removing pieces and putting them on top. When they begin removing blocks and adding them to the top, they get to pick a food from the list of foods in that category. This continues until the tower tumbles.

The blocks are big enough that they have also been provided with a ladder. There is no time limit. The guests begin to strategize about the best way to build the tower. There is some bickering, but they are all working together trying to decide what to pull. They get to choose one item from each list to start. They choose Milk, vegetables, and chicken.

The tower gets to the top of the wall. One of the Big Brother people even tells them not to let it fall on his car. Big Brother even makes a deal with them that if they get one more they can have fast food. At the end they get to knock the tower over, because they got everything.

Hardy's Nominations: It won't be on TV until tomorrow,  so if you want to be surprised, DON'T CLICK HERE.

Saturday, August 25, 2001: Ice Cream & Helicopters

Ice Cream: House guest were given an ice cream maker machine.. they were excited...all are in the mood for ice cream. In addition, they'd played a game called Rumors. Bunky was in the kitchen making some ice cream and he bent over and farted really loud, and said "Oh my, THAT wasn't in the recipe" Also, because the house guests have consumed so many veggies, they've been informed there are more in the storage room.

Up, Up and Away Luxury Challenge:  Each guest gets their own work station and helium tank. The task is to  tie a basket to a 75 ft guide string, blow up balloons and tie them to the basket. When they think you have enough helium to lift the basket, they release the string. The first two houseguests to get their basket to rise above the house win.  The two winners will join their baskets high up in the sky, and  treated to a taste of Los Angeles from above. A helicopter will take the winners to see the city in a specially guided tour: the Hollywood sign, Hollywood pier and playboy mansion, etc.  Will and Bunky (this week's two nominees for eviction) won. Will came in first; Bunky came in second.  Immediately after Bunky won, Nicole stormed off into the house.  I don't think she said congrats to anyone.  Hardy kept saying very sarcastically, "gee, I hope that the helicopter doesn't crash"

Sunday, August 26, 2001: Home Shopping Spree
House are voted a 90 second sportswear shopping spree in the house.  After being secluded they return to find the house transformed into a clothing boutique, with racks and shelves, There is loads of jewelry, sun glasses and shoes. Bunky got a $95. Hugo Boss t-shirt! Will  traded some glasses and pants for a pair of shoes with Bunky.   Nicole got a pair of orange pants. Will wanted a jacket someone else got. He got a full Puma jumpsuit to work out in. Hardy got a really nice pair of shoes. Bunky wants some of Will's stuff and Will said "you got crappy stuff"    Monica & Nicole: $1,000 each, Hardy: $600, Will: $701, Bunky: $350.   They called out "Thank you Big Brother, Thank you America!!"
Tuesday, August 28, 2001: Photographs and Boredom

Who Will Leave On Thursday?: I follow the newsgroups, and live feed watchers to find out stuff that happens when I'm not around.  It's very interesting how different people interpret  the same information.  Some are completely convinced Will is leaving, others Bunky.  At this point it looks like Bunky will be leaving, however Las Vegas odds makers have Bunky a 3:1 winner of the game. You can check back here for pre-show voting,  it'll be a link for those of you that don't like spoilers.

Photographs and Memories: Will and Bunky got their pictures back from the helicopter ride.  They whispered as they look at them so as not to upset anyone. Monica and Hardy joined them, and they talked about all the sights they flew over.  Will gives Hardy a picture of the Playboy mansion and Monica one of Eddie Murphy’s house.  Bunky and Will said that they will get copies of what the others want.  Monica says that even though she can’t stand Will most of the time she would like a couple of him.  Will leaves a picture of downtown LA on Hardy's bed.  Nicole has shown no interest.

Dull: Nothing really happened yesterday.  If you missed the broadcast tonight, they showed the "Up, Up and Away" contest and the shopping spree.  One thing they didn't show was that Arnold Shapiro, the executive producer met Bunky and Will at the end of the helicopter flight.  Bunky said he seems like a really nice, kind person.  Observations:  It seems like really long time that we've been watching Bunky and Will waiting for the vote.  I guess this has something to do with them missing a week of nominations. I'm really anxious to see what happens Thursday.

Wednesday, August 29, 2001: Banners & Survivors

A Banner Day for Will, Nicole and Bunky: I haven't given much coverage to the numerous banners that have flown over the Big Brother house.  The messages haven't been Earth shattering, but they do play a role in the guests moods.   Today four banners were spotted, they read:  “JURY PREFERS W OVER H/N IN END,”  “AMERICA LOVES WILL BUNKY MONICA,” WILL & MONICA POWER OF 2," and "W-I(HEART)U WAITN'4U N LA SHANNON 307" was sent by Shannon to Will.   Yesterday's banners read:  "NIC - COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS! (heart) J, "  "W 2 BREAK DEAL WITH H WILL BIG THREAT,"  "H & N U ROCK OTHERS JEALOUS U R GOOD GUYS" and  "H/N NOT SMART - WILL WINS ALL"

Hardy read the Big Brother announcement regarding the next contest:  "There will be no practice for the next Head-of-the House competition. It will be at the end of tomorrow's live show. As the role of Head-of-the-House comes with much power especially at this point in the game, be prepared to use all the skills that have kept you in the Big Brother house so far. There will be no more information about this. Prepare as you see fit."

I often wondered if this group watched Big Brother 1, and if they ever talk about the first guests.  The answer is yes.  Today Hardy and Bunky were even doing their impersonations of Josh and Brittany.

Survivors on Big Brother:
CBS is turning to "Survivor" to spice up the "Big Brother" House. Four former "Survivor" stars will be dropping in on the "Big Brother 2" houseguests for a special episode airing next Wednesday, right before the premiere of CBS's newest reality offering, "The Amazing Race."  Look for "Survivor II"  Jeff Varner and fitness queen Alicia Calaway to mix-it-up in a slumber party along with Sue "Trucker" Hawk and Gervase Peterson from the original show. During the Survivors' stay, the reality teams will square off against each other in a surprise competition that will decide which reality team rules. The Survivors will also make regular Diary Room entries, just as the Houseguests do.

The news comes on the heels of trouble in the house. Nicole from "Big Brother 2" was reprimanded by producers after threatening to kill Will if he betrayed her. She later said she was just joking, but the producers didn't think it was funny. She was called into the diary room and told to cut it out.

Tuesday, August 30, 2001: A Very Big Day

Nicole's Sexy Night:   The ever horny Nicole (who says she masturbated for 24 hours before entering the house) Nicole performed a "gay test," trying to get the men hard. She was rubbing on Hardy and he yelped and said she crushed his testicles. Bunky says "It's all funny until someone gets their nuts crushed."   Later she ends up in the hot-tub with Will.  Will is trying to find out exactly what Nicole is trying to get from him... how far she plans on going with the advances. Lots of double entendre, using the word "Weather"  as sex.  What happened?  Well, Will now feels relieved.  Nicole was worrying about whether their were cameras in the hot tub. Will said he didn't think so, but mentioned the internet. They talked a little, and Will mentioned he and Shannon in the hot tub and it had been rainy in there. Nicole looked offended and Will said, not as rainy as this was though. Will then said he and Shannon in general had been rainier than anyone knew, except Nicole, of course. Nicole said she knew. She then was going on about how Will really owed her a back rub now. He really, really owed her.

Live Eviction Vote #7:   It's day 56 in the Big Brother house.  Bunky was the seventh houseguest to be voted out of the Big Brother house.  Here's how they voted:
Nicole: Monica: Hardy:
Bunky Will Bunky

TOTAL VOTES:  Bunky got  2 votes,  Will got 1.
(Hardy cast the tie breaking vote.  Head-of-the-House only votes in the case of a tie).

The New Head-of-the-House:   Hardy bitched and moaned all day about having to move his stuff out of the HoH room.  The HoH competition is an endurance test, the three contestants put their keys in the "magic box," located on a waterbed, outside in an area set up like the HoH room.  The last one still on the bed, with their hands still on their key wins HoH.  Then a new wrinkle was added, Julie tried to bribe the guests a prize to drop out, no one took the offer. And we'll just have to wait to see who wins.  The only ones that could compete were Nicole, Monica and Will.  This HoH competition is right up Monica's alley: Doing nothing.   I'd consider her the early favorite. Another Offer: Julie Chen offered the first person a limo ride to a fast food restaurant if they'd take their hand off their key,  no takers.

Bye Bye Bunky:   Bunky  told Hardy that he's about to make his last Diary Room entry and asks what he should say. How about "Dear Diary... last night I groped a woman for the first time in my life, and it was HORRIBLE... I will definitely need to seek some serious therapy over that one".  Shannon and Will's brother, Ian were on hand in case Will was voted out.  Bunky's husband, Gregg (whom we now know has six body piercings, one nipple ring and five in his penis) met him in the studio with Julie Chen.

Waterbed 11:25PM (BBT):  Monica and Will made a deal.  Will:  "Which one do you want out?" She doesn't answer him, but asks him who he wants out. He says "Hardy, nothing would give me more pleasure."  Will will take his hand off the key and accept the next offer Big Brother makes, if Monica promises to nominate Hardy and Nicole, Will says he'll vote for Hardy.  Monica accepts the offer.  Hardy comes out, and offers Will & Monica a mystery envelope. They have 60 seconds to take it. Will says, "I came here to gamble" and rings the bell.....He won a giant Peanut butter jar. Monica is now HoH.   Here's transcript of some of the conversation that took place after the contest. A Morty Note:  These updates were posted as they happened, and I'm going to bed now.  Have a nice weekend...

Waterbed 11:10PM (BBT):  Nicole let go of the key, she's out of the competition.  She blames Will for making her she let go of the key. "Will moved the blanket off of my knee!"

Waterbed 11:00PM (BBT):  As of 11:00pm (Big Brother time) all three have peed the bed, Nicole:  "Who has had a worse day than this?"  Monica:  "Someone messing with your marriage....."  Nicole: "I'm talking about laying in a bed, with pee on yourself, cold and starving. This is the worse day of my life."  Nicole:  "Honey, what's today, Thursday? Honey, I know you sent that banner and everything and I hope you heard the man laying here with pee all over him. I hope you believe and understand me, unless you send me another banner. You know I'm going to be Fucked up, and I won't be able to stay in here. You can put....how am I going to know it is from him?"  They discuss what code she can tell him to use. Someone says, how about a middle initial, she says no, no one can find out. "Send it with the name of the company that redid our kitchen." Another Offer:  "First and Foremost, you guys have been out here for 3 hours now.  For the past 60 days, your every move has been monitored. What does American think of you? Get off the bed and see for yourself. You can watch footage of the show for 22 minutes." There is screaming, but no takers. Hardy  told Big Brother  that they can skip the next four or five offers if they are anything like the previous ones then calling Big Brother "Fucking idiots."

New Head-of-the-House:  As of 9:45pm (Big Brother time) there was no winner of the HoH competition, but there was one loser.  Nicole lost the HoH competition, briefly,  when  a banner flies by reading "N&W IN HOTTUB I'M BETRAYED & HURT - J",  and Nicole lets go of the key, screaming her head off. "This is my fucking life!!"  Lisa, one of the Big Brother's, apologized for the banner,  and told her that there was one way she could be sure it was from her husband Jeff.  After they calmed down Nicole, Big Brother decided to let her back in the competition.  There could be three reasons for this.  1. CBS doesn't want to show the banners on TV.  2.  It was a foul, outside interference.  3.  CBS can't show what happened in the hot-tub, and not would be able to explain to viewers why Nicole lost.   After Nicole took her place place on the bed, she pleaded with Jeff to call CBS.

Wednesday, August 31, 2001: The Day After
Things are pretty tense in the Big Brother house today.  Nicole is not a happy camper,  and Hardy realizes he made a mistake voting to evict Bunky and not Will, and Nicole won't let him forget it.  Nicole even went so far today, as to pack her bags to leave the house,  but this hasn't happened, and I doubt it will.  Of course there's a lot of pressure on Will right now, living in a house with three people, two of which hate him.  During a game of questions, Hardy asked Will "You don't want to play with us?"  Will:  "I'm feeling a lot of love in this room!"
