| Sunday,
July 21, 2002: Amy
Hates Chiara, Danielle to Pass |
| Yesterday, Amy made a
remark to Chiara that her hobby was stealing other girl's
boyfriends. Chiara took this to mean she's after Roddy
and they've been sniping at each other ever since.
Every time Chiara looks at Amy, she goes running to
Marcellas. It looks like they may have talked things
out a bit today. Chiara: "I was mad because I
have to watch my weight, and now I have no treadmill and I
have to eat PB&J, it wasn’t
you." By noon they were friends and
comparing notes on Josh. Amy told Chiara that Josh
listens at DR door. And just a little while ago Amy
was in the HoH room saying, "I want to tell the
producers, next time you are looking for contestants for the
show, don't go picking up drunken whores in the mall."
but you know how it is, things could heat up again at any
moment.
Marcellas and Danielle have pretty much decided to let
the nominations of Tonya and Josh stand (and this could
change at any moment). The word in their circle is
that "Josh has got to go." But I
wonder.... There's rarely a mention of Tonya.
Could it be that Danielle's playing Marcellas, telling him
"Josh has got to go," and really gunning for
Tonya? If she really wants Josh out, she'd save Tonya,
win points with her, and have Marcellas put Roddy or
Eric up against Josh.
 Around
2:00PM BBT, the HGs were preparing for the America's Choice
competition. The winning challenge was Human
Bowling. 3:15PM BBT: Danielle won the
contest and selected the Orbit Elliptical Glider as the
piece of exercise equipment to be added to the house.
5:30PM BBT: Sounds like Amy is starting to
lose it! She's talking about leaving and has asked BB
for Valium. Marcellas says she thinks she's Suzanne
Sugarbaker ("Designing Women") and thinks
of him as Anthony. 7:00PM BBT: Amy told
Marcellas that if Danielle uses her veto, to nominate her,
she wants to leave.
Tidbits: The doctor is coming to look
at Tonya's leaking boob incisions. Josh shaved his
chest. The live feeds showed Roddy full frontal today
(no captures). Danielle got her period today (no captures). |
| Saturday,
July 20, 2002: Danielle
Has The Power of Veto! |
I'd
love to give you a rundown of the veto challenge, but all
feeds were FotH for it. The important thing is that
Danielle has won it, and it's pretty clear that she doesn't
intend to use it. Update 3:30PM BBT: Or will
she? Danielle asked Marcellas if she saves Josh,
would he put up Gerry. Josh has told Roddy that
Marcellas would, but Marcellas never said any such
thing. Roddy's figured this out and knows that Josh is
trying to use him. However, Marcellas is
considering Roddy, because he's smart, "Too damn smart
for his own good." I won't bore you with the
details, Marcellas and Danielle aren't exactly a
brain-trust. if/when they make a decision, I'll let
you know. Oh yeah, and Amy wants to go home, "I'm just
sick of dealing with people I don't like."
8:30PM BBT: Marcellas thinks that if he saves
Josh, and gives the house what they want, a Gerry eviction,
that Josh will look out for him. Hmm, just like
Marcellas is looking out for Gerry who saved his ass last
week? And comments like Marcellas saying Tonya has
"the heart of a ho" isn't going to help when
Tonya's out of the house and on the jury.
Josh Tries Some Damage Control: Poor Josh, he just
doesn't understand. Josh has spent a lot of time today
campaigning to stay in the house. At about Noon BBT, BB
asked for all the HGs to vacate the house to prepare for the
veto challenge. With everyone together, Josh uses the
opportunity to address his housemates. Although he
apologizes, he says he stands by his reasons for doing
everything he has done so far in the house. I
especially got a kick out of him trying to relate to
Marcellas. Josh says "Sometimes you just have to
talk." and then they don't.
Tidbits: The HGs have been planning
their own talent show. Amy told BB she'll be singing a
tune from "A Chorus Line" (providing the info in
case they'd want to get music clearance to air it).
Tonya says she has no talent. Oh, she's never seen
herself run towards the camera. And on the subject of
Tonya's talent, they're only five weeks old and the sutures
appear infected. BB got her an antibiotic. Josh
says people always tell him he looks like George
Clooney. |
| Friday,
July 19, 2002: Food
Challenge & Nominations |
11:15PM BBT: Pillow Talk
Eric and Lisa chat about the vote possibilities in
bed. Although Eric would like to save Josh, he
realizes that Josh has so many enemies that saving him could
mean his own demise. On the subject of Josh and the
alliance: "It 's only an alliance if he gets HoH
because he won't put one of us up." He says he
made an agreement with Josh that he would vote out Tonya.
"Chiara, Roddy, you and I, that's
four. The wildcard is Jason, Josh thinks Jason
is on his side."

proceedings. |

|
8:00PM BBT: The nominations are in!
Marcellas has nominated Josh and Tonya for
eviction. Gerry: "If this plays out like we
think I can go out anytime after this and that's fine."
Marcellas: "Me too, I got my TV time." Not
much else to tell ya, the live feeds were all FotH for most
of the nomination process.
Stop the presses! Rick Ellis, of "AllYourTV.com"
has pictures of Tonya! Read his review of the live
feeds, with a racy transcript, and near nude captures of
Tonya! click
here And turn-about's fair play: If
you're not interested in Tonya's hinny, maybe Eric's butt is
more to your liking. Robert Carlos has two quality
captures, here
and here.

Amy weighs in for the
food competition. |
Day 12, 9:00AM BBT: The HGs had to but all
their food in the storage room. Other than PB&J,
they'll need to win all other items in today's food
challenge. At the moment, the big challenge is getting
all the HGs out of bed. The challenge is a weighty
one. They must gain weight by eating a giant house
made of cookies and brownies while their hands tied behind
their backs. They were also provided milk and water to
wash it down After 15 minutes, there's be another
weigh-in. Team captains were Danielle and Roddy, they
chose up teams, and BB gave them red and blue jerseys.
The Red team is: Roddy, Lisa, Josh Jason and Amy
The Blue team: Danielle Tonya, Gerry, Eric and Chiara.
They're not real smart or they would have only drank water
and milk because it weighs more than the brownies. The red
team won! The blue team will only get to eat PB&J for
the week.

Noon
BBT: After the challenge it was revealed that Josh
cheated by putting food in his pockets. Marcellas is
still deciding whom to nominate for eviction. It's
either Chiara or Lisa against Josh, but Danielle has
thought the process through and feels Tonya will save Josh
if she gets veto power. The truth is, there are others
that would do the same. He'd do better to nominate
Chiara and Lisa, hope Josh doesn't get the
veto power, have someone veto one of the two girls, and use
Josh as the alternate. Even Eric's figured out this
one, and would vote Josh out, "He's a cool guy, but he
has pissed a lot of people off."
2:00PM BBT: Oh the plotting, scheming, but
the one thing that dominates the house is Josh's paranoia
and hatred for Gerry. Poor Danielle is being pulled in
two directions. On one side there's Amy and
Marcellas and on the other, Josh. There's been lots of
name calling and accusations, Marcellas has called Tonya
"a scanky ho," Gerry calls Josh a Nazi (Josh
is Jewish), and Josh has spewed hours of venomous words
about Gerry. Although Danielle is often seen in
the middle of it, her words are better chosen then her
housemates and she may just be smart enough to
survive. Absent from all the meetings and clique is
Jason. At times it's hard to tell that he's still in
the house.
The America's Choice contest started today. The
houseguests want some exercise equipment, and have been
requesting some items. Big Brother will put on a competition
and the winner gets to decide what they get. But the viewers
get to choose the challenge.
Here is the first America's Choice
Question: What game would you like the House Guests to
compete in?
(1) Human Bowling
(2) Gladiator Jousting
(3) Big Boxing
Now if you care enough to waste $.99 (and I don't), call:
Call 1-900-740-1000. Phone lines close midnight, Saturday.
Tidbits: Where are
these people from? All they seem to eat is grits and
corndogs. Chiara said that she had had one night stands with
guys who would try and call her for another date and she
always turned them down because she didn't want to date a
guy who slept with her on the first date. ??? Chiara
and Roddy have kissed each-other, in a more than in friends
kind of way.
Apparently Eric didn't give enough to
notice to his fire company and me be without a job when he
gets out.

Lori is the first Out! |
The live show featured
clips of the BB2 cast, Hardy Nicole, Autumn and Kent, and
allowed us to find out what happened after they left the
house. Next week will feature other BB2 clips,
including Will. Nicole is now working as a weekend a
DJ .
Hardy has done some modeling, keeps in touch with Nicole .
Autumn is a lead singer in a band. She's still with her
husband Tony .
Kent and Bunky still keep in touch and he still keeps in
touch with the other guests .
Kent plugged his cruise, "Reality on the High
Seas," which you can get more info on at his fine
web site (see links at left).
Live
Eviction Show: The eviction votes were tallied
live tonight at 8:00PM ET on CBS. Lori almost seemed
relieved to be evicted, "The longer I stayed in, the
more I'd have to explain." Lori left with
grace. Josh voted against Amy, even though she was
part of Josh's alliance. Julie Chen asked Danielle how she
feels about the introduction of the Veto Competition.
Danielle calls it "scandalous" and says that
whoever thought of that wrinkle is "sick." Listed
are the eligible voters, HoH and the nominees can not vote:

TOTAL
VOTES: Amy got 4 votes, Lori got 5 |
The HoH challenge was called "In the House." HGs
had to answer questions about things in the house.
Josh was the first out, along with Roddy and Danielle,
followed by Eric. Next Jason was out, then Gerry,
Tonya, and Chiara, leaving Amy and Marcellas. In the end, Marcellas
won HoH for knowing where the painting of a chair was
located in the house.

Julie Chen talked
about her job on Big Brother with Craig Kilborn, on
The Late, Late Show. |
|

|
7:30PM BBT: The group is already working on Marcellas
to nominate Gerry. Amy says he's evil, and yet if it
wasn't for Gerry, Marcellas would be gone. It's a
forgone conclusion that one of the nominations will be
Josh. If Marcellas really wants him out, his best bet
is to select two popular people (like Roddy and Eric) for
his nominations. When the veto is exercised, Marcellas
could then put in Josh against a popular person, forcing a
Josh eviction. |

Dreamin' in the BB House |
| Noon BBT: As
Josh watches Amy do her laundry, Josh says" I dreamt I
snuck out out of the house last night" Amy: "Oh
wow, I've had those dreams too." Josh: "This
was really wild, I dreamt I was out drinking, came home
drunk and woke up and said, Oh man, I gotta get back to the
Big Brother house." Meanwhile the boredom is
setting in; While Tonya makes grits, the talk turns to
dying everyone's hair. The guests were each called to
the DR to get comments for tonight's show. Not very
exciting, I know, but not much has happened yet today. There
were also some intermittent feed problems earlier today.
Don't
get excited, it not from US TV. The Australian
version of BB is going to do a "Celebrity" edition
for three weeks. I doubt we'll recognize the names of
the eight celebs that will move into the Australian BB house
on July 20th. Last year, Howard Stern told CBS he'd
appear on a US celebrity version only if he could pick some
of the other guests. Required to be in the house:
Kathy Lee Gifford and Rosie O'Donnell.

What a trashy group... |
Day Nine:
Tidbits:
Lisa worked as a stripper at Scores in New York. Josh has
used ecstasy and once went to work while tripping on acid,
both Josh and Tonya have used cocaine (Tonya: "It's the
best sex ever."). Marcellas said he has paid for sex.
"Only twice." Amy's favorite TV show is "Designing
Women".
5:20PM
BBT: Amy and Marcellas were lounging in the hammock, Amy
told Marcellas she's glad he's off the block (his
eviction nomination was vetoed by Gerry). Amy was selected
as the replacement nomination and told Marcellas she's sure
she's not going anywhere. In case you forgot, the
other nom is Lori, and there's a good chance Amy is
leaving. Amy: "I'm only being nice to Chiara
because I need her vote, you know how I feel about
her."
I really miss Will's great quotes on slow days like this.

Gerry and Lisa Make Decisions |
Day Eight:
So far nothing's happened in the house. As they
continue to plot, I can't help but wonder why Gerry isn't
using his power to pressure Lisa into nominating Josh.
There's more than enough votes to get him out, and he's the
number one bet for eviction on the CBS poll (Marcellas is in
second place).
Eric told Lisa that she could put him up for eviction
because no one would vote him out (ego). Lisa thinks
she would put Josh up, because no one would vote for him,
but she doesn't know what we do.

|
UPDATE: 1:30PM BBT, Gerry has said he will
use the veto. Lisa decided she'll put up Amy in place
of Marcellas. Gerry did as I would have suggested and
suggest to Lisa that she put up Josh for eviction.
Gerry and Josh argued over the motives behind nominating
Marcellas. Josh: "I won’t be labeled like that
I’m not prejudice to black and gay." Gerry:
"I can’t allow that, I just can’t allow
that." Josh [As he walks out on Gerry]:
"That’s fine Gerry, that’s fine...."
Ratings: CBS won the first hour of Thursday
primetime in total viewers with the second installment of
"Big Brother 3" (7.8 million, 3.1/11). NBC
ran second with an average of 6.9 million viewers and
3.0/10. [Source: Hollywood
Reporter/CBS/A.C. Nielsen]
UPDATE 7:00PM BBT: The swimsuits the girls
were making were for a Ms & Mr. Big Brother beauty
pageant, an idea the HGs thought up themselves.
The girls wore thongs with flowers attached with peanut
butter. Roddy won in the men's category, Chiara in the
ladies'. You'll have to wait for the TV broadcast to
see it, no captures.
UPDATE 8:50PM BBT: Gerry [to Lori]: "I
want to stay in the house just so I can be a beacon of
morality."
