Bring Steve Harvey Home on VHS & DVD

Platinum Comedy Series - Steve Harvey - One Man (1999)  This is the long-awaited DVD release of Harvey's HBO stand-up special from 1999, taped in Augusta, GA. It contains what may be Harvey's finest, strongest hour of material. Funny from joke one to the very end. He discusses going to church, Tiger Woods, O.J. Simpson (briefly, thank goodness), the difference between firing a white worker and firing a black worker, and how women can build themselves the perfect man. Best of all, Harvey comes across as a very decent, intelligent, compassionate person. The language is occasionally raw, but never gratuitously so.  Also included on this DVD is his 30-minute Stand-Up segment from HBO's archives, and it is also genuinely funny throughout.  Buy this DVD with Platinum Comedy Series - Cedric the Entertainer - Starting Lineup DVD today!

Best Of The Improv, Vol. 1 VHS

Money Talks [DVD](1997) DVD
When story-hungry reporter Charlie Sheen sets up slick-talking ticket-scalper Chris Tucker and has him arrested, it sets off a comic chain reaction of chases and escapes that has the duo on the run from the law as they try to clear their names of a murder charge. Fast-paced buddy comedy also stars Paul Sorvino, Heather Locklear. 95 min. Widescreen and Standard; Soundtracks: English, French; Subtitles: English, French, Spanish; biographies; filmographies; theatrical trailer.

Blade (Letterboxed Version)(1998) VHS
Wesley Snipes is pure dynamite as the Marvel Comics vampire killer, out to cleanse the world of bloodsuckers as he hunts for the vampire who bit his mother during pregnancy and made Snipes a half-human hybrid. With help from sidekick Kris Kristofferson and hematologist N'Bushe Wright, Snipes will need his weapons and martial arts prowess to stop top tooth Stephen Dorff and his nasty minions from taking over the world. 91 min.

Ringmaster(1998) VHS
You'll believe a family can fight on TV. Pop culture phenom Jerry Springer makes his starring film debut, playing, of all things, the host of a syndicated talk show that gives ordinary folks the chance to air their dirty laundry in public. Things get hectic--and hilarious--as unfaithful spouses, cheating boyfriends and assorted misfits arrive for their on-camera showdowns. Molly Hagan, Jaime Pressly, Wendy Raquel Robinson also star. 95 min.

The Original Kings Of Comedy(2000) VHS
It's a king-sized night of laughs when four top black comedians--Steve Harvey, D.L. Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer and Bernie Mac--take the stage in Charlotte, North Carolina, for a rousing, raucous and very uncensored look at soul versus rap, why black people don't bungee jump, church socials, dealing with kids and other topics. Spike Lee directs this hit concert film. 115 min.
