Trivia:
Pierce Brosnan played Remington Steele on an episode of ABC's "Moonlighting" entitled "The Straight Poop." Glenn Gordon Caron created both "Remington Steele" (on NBC) and "Moonlighting."

Pierce Brosnan originally signed to play 007 in 1986, but his contract with the TV series "Remington Steele" prevented him from doing so. After being forced to give up the James Bond role (the part went to Timothy Dalton), "Remington Steele" was canceled after six more episodes.
