Originating as a segment on the comedy anthology
series "Love American Style," this popular ABC
sitcom ran from 1974-1984 and chronicled the
trials and tribulations of Richie Cunningham (Ron
Howard), a clean-cut 1950s teen who lived in the
Milwaukee suburbs, where he and pals Potsie (Anson
Williams) and Ralph (Donny Most) got in--and often
out of--trouble with the help of supercool greaser
Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli (breakout star Henry
Winkler). Tom Bosley, Marion Ross, Erin Moran also
