Monday, July  21, 2003:  A Really Dull Day
12:45AM BB dimmed the lights early so everyone would go to bed, the HGs believe it's for a competition today.  The darkness didn't help, they stayed up late anyway. Tonight's audio clip comes from the HRD where Nathan's girls talk sex, shaving and more in the early AM. Alison, Justin, Jun, Michelle, Dana, and Nathan.image  By 2:30AM the house was quiet.

10:30AM Wake-Up Call   Just ADLs until around noon when some whispering was deciphered to mean that Jun is voting to oust Erika.  Could Jun be a double agent?  Without being able to see the feeds from the DR, we'll all just have to wait until the broadcast.   3:30PM: Dull so far.  Wow from about 4:30 to 5PM, they were in indoor LD, then from about 5 to 6:00PM we had FotH, but when they returned there was no evidence anything had happened.

Jee thinks the vote could end up 4-4,  and he may be right this time.

Gossip:  There's a rumor going around that Jee and Jun formed a secret alliance before entering the house.  The rumor says they talked before entering the house, and that Jee had visited Jun's brother before they were even sequestered.  I have no proof of this, just letting you know in case it becomes an issue in the future.  After  the deal was made to evict all the exs,  someone asked Jun about getting rid of Jee.  She said no, she didn't want him sequestered in a posh resort, "let him stay around for a while so I can play with him and make his life miserable."

8:00PM:  The HGs have been called to the DR, one-by-one, but still nothing's really happened.

Midnight:  Lot's of vote counting going on, changes every 15 minutes. 4-4, 5-3, 3-5, and Jee thinks it'll be 8-0.   Nothing really happened today.

Sunday, July  20, 2003:  PoV Meeting: David Uses Veto on "Nobody"

imageQuote of the Morning:

David:  Jun bit my ass.
Jack:  Well, it was her birthday.

image1:15AM BBT Three Blind Mice Before retiring for the night, the brain-trust of Jee, Justin and Robert met to go over their plans one more time.  We've heard this so many times.image  Around 2:30AM Jack and Erika were having a chat before sleep in the Oasis room.  It was a nice long chat where we learn why Jack wanted to be on the show. Jack & Erika image While they were chatting  David came in and talked about his pow-wow with the three stooges.  He says has no problem listening to Jee and his group's plan, he's just afraid he'll start laughing at them.  Dave also tells Jack and Erika that he intends to make a mockery of the PoV meeting, "I'm gonna give them some good TV." David, Jack & Erika .image

The veto medallion, back in it's place

Some Dave Facts:

image
Dave would rather have "toys" than possessions that tie him down.  This explains why he brought a digital camera, and yet doesn't own a bed. It doesn't explain why he'd like to own a house.   He likes to take pictures and use them to create surreal images on his computer.  Dave drives a pick-up and is pretty much a motorhead.   His cousin is going to give him a 'vette to tool around Southern Ca. in. He says he just wants to stay in the house long enough to save a few thousand dollars so he can "do his own thing" for a while, but I don't believe it, Dave's the type to finish the job. Dave's job with the Army Rangers was in the line of homeland security.  He's not permitted to talk about what he did in Iraq.  He weighed 185 as a Ranger, the extra weight was all muscle. His brother is in the Army, stationed in Iraq.  David says he'd become a firefighter or an Air Marshall, but I think he really wants to host "Monster Garage."

image12:35PM  PoV Meeting  First Erika stood up and said she respected any decision David made and would understand and knew how hard it was for him to do this.  Next, Michelle stood and said she too knew how hard it was for David to make a decision, basically respected any decision that would be made.  There was an awkward pause and  Michelle  and said to David "So just make one already."  David said he decided to use the veto.....    "on nobody."  The veto was then put back in the box.  Dave's great PoV speech.image

I think there's a little more tension in the house than usual.  Ali feels threatened by Dana, Dana trusts no one, Michelle has been snapping at David, Justin says he's used to playing cards with a better class of people, Ali's mad at Jun for telling Dana too much, Robert says they're all immature ("My 7-year-old daughter is more mature than half the people in the house."), and they're all trying to out-smart BB by memorizing game facts to win the next HoH.  Dana points out, "Why is it that guys are always doing things that they think are funny, but it aint?  It's just fucking annoying."  She's right, woman don't see the humor in so many things--  sad isn't it.  image

Well, I Never!

Tonight Jun and Michelle lead the HGs in playing a game called "Well, I never."  It's a cross between truth or dare and musical chairs.  I only have audio, it's too long to edit, and the quality isn't very good, but here it is
image image

4:15PM Nate's Opinions on Gays:  While Nate's sitting on the patio, shaving off all his arm hair, Jee asks him how he'd react if one day his son said, "Dad, I think I'm gay."  Nate says he'd still love him, but he couldn't live in under his roof.  "God doesn't have you born gay." image Jack and Nate talk about recent developments in the Supreme Court. (The the above link played the wrong clip and it has been  corrected 7-23-03.)

5:00PM Dana seeks out Alison for Support.  Dana is very high maintenance when it comes to reassurance.  Ali spends a half hour in the bath area assuring her that everything's OK.  Dani's heard that there are plans to put her up for eviction next week.  Ali and Dan play the "who said what" game.  Dana's tension is relieved, for a while.

9:30PM Ali questions the three stooges as to their game plans.  At this point no one can tell what she was trying to accomplish.  Later she gave Nate a shave. image.  While on the subject of shaving--  Ali says she has a "runway,"  Michelle is bald and smooth.  Thought you'd want to know.

Highlights from "Well I never:"  Jack says some of the best sex he ever had was while driving.  David lied when Michelle asked if he had sex with Amanda.  Michelle says she's kissed every part of a man.  Jun and Erika have had sex at work.  When Jack was single he had sex with a married woman.  Erika likes to be on top.  Michelle stood up when  asked if she had even been given a "pearl necklace," she thought it was jewelry.  Most of the guys have had more than four one night stands.  Jee asked Jack if he ever wanted to sleep with any of his daughter's friends, "yes."

Saturday, July  19, 2003:  Happy Birthday Jun
image
Some people are so trusting.

Wake-Up Call: 11:15AM, At midnight the HGs took a brief pause from their plotting to sing "Happy Birthday" to Jun.  Of course this musical event was blocked on the live feeds.  BB lets the HGs sleep a little late today.  At 2:45PM BB called Jun to the DR so the other HGs could go to the storage room and get the cake for Jun's birthday.   The HGs hide behind the sofa to surprise Jun. Her cake was a gooey, chocolate-cherry deal that looked tasty.  Jee gave her the key to the HoH for the day.   Later she prepared her own birthday dinner.  Except for some burnt garlic bread, it was a fine feast.  Jack said it was the best meal he's had in the house.  The PB&J team were not even permitted to enjoy the cake.  Jun's birthday, image.

image

A couple?

Speaking of the PB&J group, since they're allowed condiments,  Dana concocted garlic bread, which has shut-up the ever-whining Nathan for a few minutes.

Although Dana denies it, her and Justin are becoming close friends. I wouldn't call it a romance, but there's a mutual attraction.  Alison is resentful of any signs of open flirting with her ex.

image

Dave visits the HoH bed again, this time with Michelle (they just talked).

image

David: "After talking to them, I really think they are fucking stupid."

Plotting:  At this point, Dave is working to keep Erika in, and have Michelle evicted.  To make his plan work, he needs Dana to vote for Michelle, and she's not fond of Erika.  David's plan is to tell her (Dana) that she is targeted for eviction next week, and this will secure her for another week.  It may seem cruel that Dave is sending Michelle to the lions, but the strategy is good.  Jee, Robert, and Justin think they're in charge, they couldn't be more wrong.

Bikini Show 2003

image
image
image

Michelle wanted the girls to entertain the guys, and out-do the girls from BB3 in creativity.  Jun spent about three hours sewing lettuce leaves into bikinis.  Only Michelle and Ali actually agreed to model them.  Erika did Ali's hair for the event.  At 11:45PM it was show time.  After a short stroll around the living room, David got up and broke the thread holding up Michelle's top.  She shrieked and Jun threw a towel around her and the show was over. Salad bikinis image

Nate didn't see the point to the whole thing, David and Justin told them to get dressed, and the presentation got over-all low marks from the boys, expect for Jack who thanked them for the entertainment.

image

"I must be getting horny, 'cause Justin's lookin' really cute with that short hair."

Sorry no video on this one.  It seems they're being real careful about showing naked HGs this year.  The show couldn't be captured because they kept switching feeds.  The video quality was poorer than usual too.   I'm sure there'll be a segment on the next broadcast.

Later the girls tried to get even with the boys.  They all got their exorcise chasing each other around the house with catsup and mustard, tried to throw Michelle in the pool (BB  made it a rule, no one could dunk anyone with a mic on).  Dave's method of a attack was a water filled condom, and the boys Ali in the pool, her hair no longer the style Erika fussed over. When Justin found his clothes wet, Ali's clothes ended up in the bathtub, then Justin threw them outside.  They all seemed to have regrets when they had to clean it all up.  Perhaps it's past their bedtime.

Tomorrow is the all-important PoV meeting, but unless David's a double agent, and only spilling the details in the DR, the PoV will not be used.

Friday, July  18, 2003:  David Wins PoV

An emergency PoV pow-wow

image

"Don't let the nice girl [Dana] fool ya,
she's a bitch!"

image

"There are no more alliances, they didn't work, they're all broken."

image

"It's killing me inside, I have to pretend to be her best friend, I just feel so stupid"

Wake-Up Call: 10:20AM, Second Wake-Up Call 10:30AM, 10:50AM, they all got up.

image

Get your ducks in veto's duck pond.

image

Justin winds up to throw his duck

imageNoon BBT Duck Pond PoV Challenge  From noon to 1:00PM the HGs competed in a 'duckball' challenge with the prize being the coveted PoV medallion.  The event wasn't shown on the live feeds, but within minutes we knew David had won.  Almost immediately after, Jee, David and Michelle were meeting in the HoH to discuss whether David plans on using the PoV.  I think he wants to save Michelle.  Dave still wants Dana out, but he left Jee thinking that he won't use the PoV, but reminded him that he has three days to change his mind.  Alison and Robert joined the meeting, and soon after Nate, and Dana. Duckball PoV competition image.

imageVegas Odds Posted:
John Avello of Bally's Paris-Las Vegas posted his odds for BB4 today.  I can't say I agree with him, as his favorites to win are Jack and Erika.  With Erika teetering on the brink of eviction I can't see her as a 4/1 shot. Either way, they're here for you to ponder.

imageCommentary So Far
I wanted write my opinions on the HGs, I haven't had a chance.   I did find someone with opinions very much like mine.  He just happens to be Eric Ouellette from Big Brother 3.  Click Here to read his opinions.  When you click there, look on the left.  You'll see other commentaries from BB3 players.

Tonight's Broadcast:  They showed Jee getting his room.  Scheming with the girls.  Jee planning his eviction nominations. Next was the food challenge Clash of the Casseroles image  Segments on Erika and Robert were followed by the David-Michelle talk.image where Michelle protests that all his jokes are mean spirited.  This  lead up to more nomination planning were Jee tells Michelle he's going to put her up,  and lastly, the meeting image.

Live, While the Show Was On:  The HGs got four casseroles from BB.  All the HGs were allowed to eat.  They were promised these would be more palatable (or as Jee read it: "Plate-able") than the ones they had to eat yesterday.

image

Dave has so many ways to amuse us.

Games People Play.  Today's diversions includes marbles and ping pong.  The guys found a ping pong ball and found a way to play on the kitchen island with oven mitts.

Plotting: Nate has told Jee that it would be better to get rid of Dana instead of Erika.  Jee is afraid to switch the nom because he thinks Erika will be gunning for him. Dave reminds Jee That they have the chance to convince Erika that they're with her.  Dave says Erika sucks at the mind games and physical games.  "It's actually in our best interest to roll with the house and take Dana out right now."

The Robert-Jee braintrust is freakin' ponderous.  The talk just keeps going and going. David is in on many of these talks.  He's showing (to us) that he's a skilled player.  He goes in plants seeds in their tiny little heads and goes back later to see if anything's growing.  He wants to use the PoV, but he wants to know exactly what the results will be.  Robert can't figure Dave out, but Robert couldn't figure out the instructions on a bottle of shampoo.  Nate's on Jack's side and has talked to Jee about keeping Erika too.  Robert tells Dana that if Dave vetoes, Jee will put up Jack.

Plot Twist!  Yeah, you guessed it.  You saw it coming. Jun, Nate, Ali and Jack plan to evict Michelle, and Dave may even betray his ex to get a majority.  I really want Michelle to stay, but it might be worth losing her to see the look on Jee's face. Of course this plan will change a few dozen times before Wednesday.

Thursday, July  17:   Food Competition & Michelle & Erika Nominated
image

Dana tastes casserole #3

image

Quick!  Put the Ingredients on the board

9:30AM BBT Clash of the Casseroles image:  The HGs had to get up early to earn their food.  The house was split into two teams, red and blue. The red team consisted on Jack, Jun Justin, Erika and Alison, the blue team was Robert, David, Michelle, Nate and Dana.

The contest was to guess the ingredients in five casseroles (imagine being dragged out of bed at 9:00AM for this).  Players were to take a bite, run to a board and put the magnetic  ingredients on the board.  BB would then tell them if they were correct or not.  If not, take another bite an try again.  Ingredients included tongue, venison, and oysters (Jack's was liver and cactus).  Each casserole included one meat, one vegetable.

Jun's amazing mouth pulled the red team to victory.  Meanwhile, Robert, David, Michelle, Nate and Dana will be on PB&J this week. Jee, as HoH, will get to eat with the winners. After the game, Dave, with the weak stomach, tasted each casserole.  Nate was critical of Robert and Michelle for being slow.

11:00AM Zzzz   After the game, everyone went back to bed.  By 11:45 Jun was up to grazing again.  Later that night, while the HGs were talking about the foods, they realized that the producers goofed and had mislabeled the foods.  Since everyone was at the same disadvantage, the results would remain.

12:30PM Here's the Plan:  Jee's goal is to get Erika out.  To do this, he plans to nominate Michelle and Erika.  He called Michelle into his room to tell her the plan. Jee, "I think you're a sweet girl.  I want you to know this is nothing personal.  I wanted you to know before we sat around the table."  Michelle: "Does that mean like, I like might be like, extincted?" She cried and Jee tried to consoled her, "David and Jack are the only two that might win veto and save Erika,  but I'm is going to talk to Jack and tell them not to use it."  Jee might want to remember that Erika could win and use it for herself.  He also made the mistake of telling Michelle his agreement to get rid of the ex's, of which she's one.

Michelle leaves the HoH still upset, she tells Nate, "Hey don't worry about anything, ok? I got your back."  he reassures her. She's then called to the DR.

Jack tells Jee that he agrees, however, we know that Erika is part of Jack's alliance.  I've heard Jee say "Erika must go." about a dozen times.  I'm not sure of his reason, but I keep in mind that Jee's only pal in the house is Robert, who is Erika's ex.  Jee and Robert plan that if the veto is used, Dana will go up.

1:30PM Michelle is still crying. David can't stand to see the girl he once loved upset and he tries to talk to Jee, who's not real receptive. By 2:30PM Jee has realized the flaw in his plan, that he has revealed his alliances with the other HGs, and he knows he's a marked man.

Amanda was interviewed on both  Entertainment Tonight image and  Extra image.  Amanda told the ET reporter that she mother wasn't pleased with her on camera passion, and her father choose not to watch.

image

First they took her food away, then they nominated her for eviction.  It's not Michelle's day.

5:00PM Jee is called to the DR, time to get ready for nominations. By 5:10PM the nomination meeting was in progress. From 5:10PM to the nomination process was in progress, at least we this so, we had FotH for and hour and a half.   By 6:45PM we had conformation that Michelle was nominated, and Erika's confirmation followed. See the meeting image.

image7:30PM Jee plans a meeting.  It's been noted that the HGs are falling behind in doing their chores.  Jee thinks a chore meeting should be held to dish out the duties.  8:30PM Craft Time image.  The HGs get to work on their tie-dyed shirts, but their hearts aren't in it.  Dana says she heard Alison ask  if Dana hated her, Dana continues, It's bull shit and Alison and her little boyfriend [Nate, not Justin] don't care about me."  Jun stirs the pot by telling Dana that Nate had enough of her. They're all starting to get on each others nerves.

Meanwhile Erika tells Jack that he shouldn't worry about her, and should do whatever it take to stay in the game.  It was a very interesting conversation, in that it showed Erika is smart, understands the games, and is a caring person.  In the kitchen, Michelle tells Jun that Alison gets upset when she sees girls with Justin, "She doesn't care about him, she just doesn't want to like see it in her face."  They both talk about Dana's paranoia.  Dana was lounging in the hammock with Robert,  she wants her to wear a shirt in the DR so his parents will know she's half Cuban.

Jee was surprised when he saw where the house was, on a studio lot.  He thought it would be "in like a neighborhood."  Nate told told Jun he doesn't care about Jee's plan, he wants Dana out, and wants her out this week.  Oooh Nate, that's not part of the plan.  Prettyboy's cranky on PB&J, and it's only been 12 hours.

Hijinx:  Alison dumps a pitcher of ice water on Justin's head while he's in the shower, "Hey, that was cold!"   Ali: "It was supposed to be."  Justin: "I figured that when I felt an ice cube slide down my butt crack."  Justin tried to return the favor using a bucket of ice water, but his plan the foiled when Alison saw his approach in the mirror.  Dave's plan for the night is to put dots on the cube cushions in the living room so they can use them for dice.

Jun Discovers a Rule:  While eating a bowl of M&M's, Jun sees a line in the BB rule book: "Under no circumstances is the head of house to tell someone they are being nominated in advance."

Wednesday, July  16, 2003:  Full All Out Sex in BB House!!
David and Amanda Have Full All Out Sex in BB House!!  Amanda is Voted Out 9-0!  Jee wins HoH!
1:00AM BBT The night before eviction packing and prepping take place.  The cameras focus on Amanda who is very concerned about what she'll be wearing to meet Julie.  Jee can't be found on any of the four feeds.  Amanda gives some of the guests little Teddy bears to remember her by.  She apologizes that the store didn't have enough to give one to everyone.

1:30AM  Nathan gives the HoH key to Dave and Amanda so they can spend the night together in the HoH room.  Robert gives the couple more wine.  The other HGs are expecting some action in the HoH room.  When Robert holds up a condom, Amanda says, "Now this is taking on a whole new dimension."  Amanda giggles and keeps teasing David, saying now that it's on, he's scared.  David says that if he sleeps with her he'll be nominated next week.  Dana assures them David will be safe next week.  Amanda

This was the last we saw before the feeds went FotH. When they returned, nearly an hour later, there was still no feed from the HoH.

shows off her flexibility by putting her ankles behind her head.  By 2:45AM they were giggling in the HoH room, and were soon under the covers making out.  I gotta tell ya, this was the hottest it's ever gotten in the BB house.  Hotter than Eric & Lisa, hotter than Roddy and Chiara.  The covers were writhing for quite some time, but without x-ray cameras we may never know just how hot it got.  By 3:30AM I'm sure producers were being called to work this footage into tomorrow's show.

3:45AM  YES! First Sex in BB USA!!!  The action reached the point where there was nothing left to the imagination.  As the bed was creaking all feeds switched to FotH.  Judging by the length of time they played that music, Dave is quite a man!

5:30AM Regret & Laundry  Dave was pretty sober, yet he puked in the HoH room.  He may be tough guy when it comes to homeland security, but when he realizes he just had sex live on the internet, it's time to change the sheets.  The room was just too small to deal with now, so they moved into a cot in the turtle room. All very awkward. So do you want to see them do it?  I thought you did. David and Amanda . Or you can download it here.

10:00AM  Zzzzzzz  Jack is Awake. 11:30AM Amanda: "I feel like I was hit by a truck." David tells Jack he asked them in the DR if they'd show him getting sick.  They said probably not, but no guarantees.  12:30PM Dave and Amanda are still in the turtle room and discussing how CBS will deal with what transpired. Everyone is in LD while things are set-up outside for tonight.  BB was also playing that nasty BB FotH music through the house to cover the sound of the carpet cleaners in the HoH. David's in the DR.  Amanda made her entrance at 12:45, even Nate noticed her smile. They told the other HGs they were kicked out of the HoH room at 8:00AM so they could get the room ready for the new HoH.  Erika and Dana are going crazy listening to the BB music loop.  1:00PM The girls grilled Amanda asking how big Dave is.  Amanda said she doesn't know.  Dana says, "Well like he could have been aroused, you could have felt it, or saw a protrusion."  Amanda says they just kissed and made out.  Ha! Wait 'til they see the video.  When David emerges from the DR, Dana greets him with "Good morning, you hunk of man you."

1:49PM LD is Over.

3:30PM Another LD begins and Amanda is called to the DR.  David contemplates the house, trying to memorize where everything is, and what's in it, in case the knowledge is needed for the HoH contest tonight.

4:15PM Rehearsal for Live Show in Progress

The Broadcast:  Julie showed videos of  last night's sex   (no vomit).  Then we saw Jee's girlfriend, Carmen reacting to him being in the house with Jun.  Next we saw Alison's new boyfriend, Donny, reacting to Alison being in the house with Justin, and Ali making out with Nate .  Julie failed to mention that the interview was taped before he saw this scene with Ali and Nate.   Then Julie introduced the "Where are They Now?" segment with interviews of Lisa, Tanya, Marcellas and Josh

By a Vote of 9 to 0 Amanda Was Evicted
Dave Voted Her Out!

After the meet and greet with Julie, Amanda's father and brother met her. Whew!

In the last segment, they competed for HoH in a game called "Majority Rules., " predicting what the other HGs would vote. The game went into sudden death, there was a final question, they have to write a number on their chalkboards:  "What was the combined total weight of all the 'standers' in the spuds competition?" Jee and Justin both wrote 700.   Tie-breaker question: "How many days old is Amanda?"  The correct answer is 9,000+, Jee said 4,000, Justin goofed and added an extra "0" and said 80,000.  Jee won.

9:15PM New HoH Gets His Room.  Jee got his room, gift basket of goodies that included a Linkin Park CD, a picture of his girlfriend Carmen, popcorn, chips, etc.. Alison remarks that the room smells like hamsters "you know, like cedar."  At 9:45PM the food arrives.  Steaks, string beans, baked potatoes, mushrooms, garlic bread, and salad. At Midnight the feast had to end, their next meal must be won.

Tuesday, July  15, 2003:  Another Day
9:45AM BBT Wake up call.  "House guests, it's time to get up."  Even before breakfast, they discover BB has provided them with duckball (a game invented by last years HGs) and pool toys. Just because BB is ready and the HGs got an early call doesn't mean anything will happen for a while.

12:15PM Amanda contemplates eviction, "I hope they brought my friends in.  If it's my parents it's gonna be like total buzz kill.

1:20PM Nathan brings the news they all wanted to hear. Food will arrive today in time for dinner.  At 3:45PM the food arrived, fish, pork chops and ground beef marked "Reduced for Quick Sale."

The Broadcast:  We learned that this year, every PoV award is golden, meaning that the holder of the PoV award can remove themselves from that week's chopping block.  This privilege was only granted on the final round of BB3.  Next, we saw the knot puzzle they untangled that won Dana the PoV.

The Scott Scenes:  If you think CBS edited and tamed things down, you're wrong.  It was just that much of a non-event.  Scott was no more violent than what they aired.  The Scott Incident   What was omitted was Scott's speech about his HPV, and Alison's freak-out about it. (See Saturday, July 11)  Alison donned rubber gloves, scrubbed the toilet and worked herself into such a frenzy that she threw-up.

6:30PM The HGs are fed and happy in indoor LD.  7:45PM Michelle is tired of David always making fun of her.  She says all his jokes are at her expense. But now they have a signal (she pinches his butt) to let Dave know when to stop.

7:30PM  We got Beer & Wine Tonight.  9:30PM  More Food
